Happy Fourth of July. And if you weren’t planning on drinking…
THIS will change your mind. Ummm alcohol.
Here’s a reminder, and a really stark one at that, of just who voted for TheBoyPresident™ and his buffoons.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey finds that 54% believe that the U.S. is indeed the nation with liberty and justice for all. A third (34%) disagree while 11% are not sure.
However, only 38% of African-Americans believe the nation is a land of liberty and justice for all. Fifty-nine percent (59%) of white adults hold that view. So do 71% of Republicans, 45% of Democrats and 48% of those unaffiiated with either major party.
And if that’s not enough, check out Marist:
There’s good news for American education. About three-quarters of residents — 74% — know the U.S. declared its independence from Great Britain in 1776. The bad news for the academic system — 26% do not. This 26% includes one-fifth who are unsure and 6% who thought the U.S. separated from another nation.
Make sure and check out the internals on the polling, it’ll save you from wasting time adding water or ice or mixers to your alcohol straight from the bottle.
I really wish I some biting commentary on this, but unfortunately it pretty much speaks for itself. I also can’t think of any site acceptable commentary on our schools, educators in general or teachers in specific.
And thanks to the Redneck_Hippy at Redstate for discovering this little gem…
